Have Been Diagnosed With Mammogram. Had Ultrasound Test Done. No Medication Till Now. Can It Be Cancer?

I had a diagnostic mammogram
Yesterday and then I had to have an ultrasound there was only one mass I could feel . Turns out there is 4 masses and one is under the nipple the others were like 9 o'clock 8 and 930 or something like that and also there is a blood supply in 2 of the masses . I can't get the biopsy for 2 more weeks so I really need to know does this sound like cancer ?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is understandable that you can be concerned.

Blood supply can be seen in both benign (non cancerous) or malignant lesions. It is more likely in a malignant lesion but as stated previously can occur in benign lumps as well.

The only way to definitively determine whether it is malignant or benign is via the biopsy that you are scheduled to have in a few weeks.

If it is not the biopsy result that you hope for it is important to remember that treatment has advanced and there are alot of therapies that may be effective.

I hope this helps
