Have Black Spot On The Upper Eye Area. No Medication Till Now. What Is The Remedy?

I had what I thought was a blackhead on the upper eye area near the inner part of the nose area. Well it started as a small black spot and has, over a years time, gotten bigger. I have tried over the counter products with no results. I tried "squeezing it and nothing comes out. I noticed at the beginning of the week that it now is a "small hole". Still black inside. Should I see a doctor? I'm starting to become concerned it is not just a blemish.
