Have Bladder Bleeding, Had Prostate Surgery And Had Radiation. Blood Keeps Coming After Urination. Cure?
Hello Dr., i have a problem of my bladder bleeding. I had prostate surgery by Dr. TULLY Birmingham and r adiation in Decatur, Dr, Morgan carthrize the exposed veins around the bladder neck more than once but can't seem to solve the problem. I wind up in the er about every 3-4 months as the blood keeps coming every day a few drops at a time after urination and more and more comes as the days go by. I need it fixed.
I understand after such surgery and radiation, its but normal to feel disturbed if blood keeps coming. This is however not very rare in bladder disease or cancer. The cause of persistent bleeding for sure has to be sought and fixed. This might require q careful urologic assessment by your surgeon, to exclude a recurrence of the cancer, inadequate radiation nor other disease like an infectious process, which could complicate so much the healing process. I strongly recommend you consult your treating surgeon. Kind regards.
