Have Blood Along With Semen. Had Unprotected Sex And Had Ejaculated Inside The Vagina. What Could Be The Reason?

Hi . Me and my significant other had unprotected intercourse, and he proceeded to ejaculate inside of me. I am aware that some sperm comes out eventually. When i went to the restroom i seen some of the sperm come out, but i also noticed little specks of blood on the sperm, or within it. I had just gotten off of my period, so could this be left over blood maybe? But wouldnt the blood be brownish, instead of red?

Good day!

The blood that came out of your vagina since it is reddish maybe due to only 2 things. One is some form of trauma or skin break in your vagina that may have caused bleeding and is common after intercourse. Another possibility is blood from the ejaculate of your partner. Blood in the semen is usually due to inflammation and is self-limiting. Also another possibility is from your menstruation.

My advise observe if you develop further vaginal bleeding and this could warrant a check-up with your gynecologist to check your cervix and vagina.
