Have Broken Toe Nail. What To Do For The Dried Blood Under The Nail?

I kicked a can with heavy wax in it in my sleep. My big toe was affected but never bled . Only under the toenail it did. It hurt at one time and I wrapped it up with Neosporin. Now, my toenail is split across half way and is able to lift up a little but is still attached with skin. I'm wondering what I can do for the dried blood under the nail. This happened about 9 months ago.
