Have Brown Spots On Arm, Hair Growth. What Is Responsible For It?

i have brown spots on my arm for more than a year. hair seems to be growing on it and it is spreading slowly. i had never had these marks before but the dermatologist said it must be from birth. itried using creams like nycoban but it did not work. furtheremore it does not feel itchy at all. what can i do to remove the marks?

Hi hard brown patches with hair growth is nothing but melanocytic naevus or beckers naevus.it cannot be treated by any medication or surgery.sometimes hair will be grown on the patches by applying steriod cream.these melanocytic naevus can be removed by nd yag laser or alexandrite laser

these can be by birth or dipigmentation after due to any reason may be drugs oils shampoo or ointments or body application materials
hair growth can be due to harmonal disbalances
you can try salysilic acid or tretinoic acid or trichloroacetic acid creams if they work
