Have Bruise On Finger, Small Yellow And Green Pigment Pus In Nail. Treatment?

I have had a bruise on my left middle finger for a few days now. It does not hurt anymore, but is still there. However, the bruise has developed a small yellow and green pigment of pus by the nail. I have no time to see my local doctor, but what should I be doing to get this treated quickly? Or is it necessary to see my doctor instead?

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic
Usually a bruise is red initially, then it becomes black. When hematoma is subsiding it changes colour to green and yellow. So I think you just give it time to heal completely. If it is paining then we should think of infection and the yellow color might be due to pus. In that case you should see a doctor for draining it and for a course of antibiotic.
Hope this helped
Take care
