Have Bump On Forehead. Will It Go Away? What Is The Lump?
Hello,
I bumped my forehead 1 year and 6 month ago by walking into a glass door with very, very thick glass, which didn't break. Immediately got a huge bump on forehead, within a week got as small as a pea. It's still there. I get the impression it goes smaller when in bathtub with hot water.
Hi, Huge bump you developed after hitting the door was hematoma. Hematoma is the swelling developed by collection of blood underneath the skin. Gradually the blood absorbed in the blood vessels back, so the size of hematoma reduced.. But, after few days, you deveped small pea size swelling, it may be fibromatosis due to healing process. You do not worry. It is benign condition. It may be removed by simple excisional surgery under local anaesthesia. You consult either sugeon or dermatologist. After few investigations, he will do surgery.
I hope you might be satisfied with my answer.
Regards.
