Have Bump On Penis With White Head. Took Bactrim. No Change. Remedy?

I have a bump on my penis which appears to have a white head although nothing comes out when squeezed. The bump has what feels like a hard core and the whole area is inflammed. I went to a doctor and he said that it was an ingrown hair and that it should start looking better within 24 to 48 hours. He prescribed me bactrim and well its not looking any better.

Antibiotic needs some time to start working especially for localized lesions so wait for few more days. If this persists then it might be viral infection or allergic reaction. I suggest to do swab test then to find the exact causative agent. Till that keep genital area clean and dry and dont scratch or squeeze it.
