Have Cold, Bronchitis, Congested Sinus. Using A Nasal Spray And Prednisone. What Can Help Me?

Hi there,I have been using a nasal spray, not saline, for 3 days, as have had a cold that has turned to bronchitis, and am on predisone for 6 days to relieve that, but I find that the spray to relive my congested sinus is only working for upto 3 hrs, so hence am not sleeping. Do I need to change to another spray, or do I need an antibiotic for .my sinus are bothering me the most at present.

Any suggestions for a good nights sleep would be good. Alison

Welcome to Health Care Magic
Hope you are doing well. You did not Mentioned which nasal spray are you using. how ever use Xynosine Nasal spray 2 puff in morning and night. Decongestants may help relieve congestion, but they do not cure sinusitis.

Because many cases of acute sinusitis resolve within two weeks with non-prescription treatments and home remedies, doctors generally wait at least 7 - 14 days before prescribing an antibiotic.
I hope you are satisfied with the Query.
Regards
