Have Coloured Spot In Eye. No Medication Till Now. What Could Be The Problem?
Hi,
I noticed a yellow spot on the inner pink tissue of the corner of my right eye, the corner closer to my tear ducts, i think its called inner canthcomus. My eye hurts a bit but its not swollen, it just feels tight when i move it, the color if my eye has not changed nor has the white of my eyes, i was wondering if i should be worried about the yellow spot, what could it be?

Yellow spot near the inner canthus can be a pinguecula or just pigmentation. either condition is not serious and usually asymptomatic. You must use UV protective goggles while in the sun as exposure is likely to worsen it. If it is hurting as you mention, then you must consult an ophthalmologist because pain indicates that there is some inflammation. The ophthalmologist would recommend some simple ani inflammatory eyedrops and lubricating eyedrops which will give relief.
