Have Contact Dermatitis, Itchy, Bumpy, Redness. Treatment?

What is the best way to treat a contact dermatitis? I noticed it about 3 hours ago. It s an itchy and bumpy red area about the size of a half dollar on my forearm . It could be poison oak or ivy although I wasn t aware of contacting any plants. After a couple of hours it dawned on me that it could be something like that so I washed it, ran cool water over it and put rubbing alcohol on it. At the moment it doesn t itch, but when I first noticed it, it itched and I scratched it. How should I proceed?

Hi,
It seems that you might be having some allergic bite causing this lesion.
Take antihistamine like Cetrizine or Benadryl for 2-3 days.
Apply triple acting cream locally.
Ok and take care.
