Have Cracked, Sore Lip. No Pain. Cure?

Hi!...I have a cracked lip in one spot that just seems to never heal up permanently...I ve use chap stick regularly and it helps sometimes but it just cracks open again within a day or so. I ve read the symptoms on other types of ailments with chapped or cracked/split lip and none of them don t seem to be my problem... I just have a cracked lip in one spot that stays sore and open. I s not large or painful but just an annoyance to have that cracked lip. It s usually the sorest in the morning even with the applying of chapstick before bedtime.

Hi,
You seem to be having cheilitis. You may follow these to treat the same
Do not try to pick or remove dry skin from lips
Use Vaseline or Chapstick whenever lip is dry
Apply a steroid antibiotic cream over lip for few days to let the cracks heal. You may apply flutibact cream for the same purpose.
Hope that will help. Take care.
