Have Cyst On Eyelid. Taken Antibiotics. Poor Vision. Dark Shade Behind Eyes. What Is It?

I have a syst on my eye lid and went to my ophthalmic surgeon. He told me I have dry eye and gave me an antibiotic drop to use twice a day. When he was examining my eyes he said I have a dark shading behind my left eye. My vision in that eye has been poor but I had been blaming the syst. I have to go back and get my eye photographed. What could the dark shading be? YYYY@YYYY Thank you!
