Have Diabetic Neuropathy, Painful Feet, Scrotum, Breast Tissue. What Should Be Done?
I have diabetic neuropathy for last 5 years. Very painful in feet, but also in scrotum & breast tissue . Have been on many narcotics but tolerance builds quickly to the point that they are ineffective. I can t take it anymore and don t know where to turn. Any ideas. Have been to neurology & urology with out luck Spinal x-rays prove negative so far. Running out of places to research. Thank You Doctor , Dean F San Jule YYYY@YYYY
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Since you are a diabetic and you may be a patient of . 1 Neuritis , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical as well clinical history . Because in this type of cases patient usually develops "PAPER TOUCH " pain in the nerves so a physician will examine and will find out . 2 Neuropathy , diabetes is one of the most potent cause . Diabetologist will check the nerves for any numbness and tingling sensation in the nerves. As you are a patient of diabetes so virtually all nerves involves so generalized treatment is important . As you took so many narcotics ,so ordinary pain reliever are ineffective . So in my opinion consult adiabetologist and get his opinion regarding this. Good luck. Dr. HET
