Have Diarrhea, Gas, Bloating And Mild Cramps. Irregular Periods. Brownish Discharge. Should I Be Worried About Pregnancy?
Hi, my period is never on time, sometimes it can be two weeks late. Im due sometime soon if not now since I lost track of when my last period is due. I ve been having gas, diarrhea , bloating , mild cramps periodically, and now a light tan watery discharge. I want to know if this is normal to have before periods start. A few days ago my discharge was clear mucus . And I have had unprotected sex in the last month
Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.
First of all, I would recommend a calender where you mark the start of your period, the days that you bleed, and the last day of your period. It would also be a good idea to write down a "symptom diary". This can make evaluation by your doctor much simpler.
You symptoms certainly sound like they are related to your cycle, but they could also be relted to pregnancy. This needs to be tested. I am guessing that you are not pregnant, but this needs to be considered.
Finally, given the abnormal discharge, this could be anything from normal / cycle-related to a common infection or an STD. You need to get into your OB/GYN for an exam and advice on cycle regulation and birth control if needed!
I hope this helps and good luck. Thank you for using HCM!
