Have Discomfort In Nose While Sleeping?

I currently am having difficulty sleeping nights. When I sleep on my left side my nose completely blocks, and the same thing occurs when I sleep on my right side I.e. my right nostril plugs . Nothing seems to work, a suggestion would be appreciated.

Hello,

You may be having allergic symptoms. Alternate nasal blocking is a normal condition called nasal cycle but if you are aware of them and it is causing problems, you will need further evaluation. At this stage all I can suggest is to keep your bed and pillow clean, and if you are using any regular nasal decongestants, please stop them immediately as they can worsen the condition. Visit an ENT or an Allergist for further evaluation.
