Have Disturbance In Testicles. Have Variococele. Advised For Surgery. Is There Any Other Option?

hi doctor,, i am suffering from variococele (left sided testicular ),sir i am facing this trouble from the last 1 months,,,my doctor told me that only surgery is the solution and i seriously get affraid from the surgeries, and i am not married, Iam facing disturbance and uncomfortability in my left side testicle ,it hurts much when i pressed it sir plzzzzz help me

Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have Varicocele on left side which is embarrassing you and your Dr has advised you to undergo surgery.
Normally surgery for varicocele is advised if one has got grade 3-4 varicocele and that too if it is suspected to be cause for infertility.
You can certainlly try conservative approach like using scrotal support and taking pain killers.If problem persists you ma think of surgery after consulting a qualified Urologist.
