Have Dot On Arm Like Bug Bite. Busted And Juice Came Out. Is Bruised. Cure?

Hi, I notice this dot on my arm and it looked like a bug bite. I woke up and saw this, and didn't panick or nothing just left it alone, but I accidently scraped my arm against a table and the spot busted and juice came out. So, I just cleaned it up and for the next few days I just left it alone, but today I notice a brusing around the bite and I'm beginning to worry. The days before I notice it. Everytime I would touch around the area, it would feel bruised but nothing showed until today. What bit me, and what should I do?

Hi
Thanks for your query

Looks like you have developed a lesion of Vector dermatitis, also known as Paederus dermatitis.
Paederus dermatitis is a peculiar, irritant contact dermatitis characterized by a sudden onset of red lesions on exposed areas of the body.
The disease is provoked by an insect belonging to the genus Paederus.
Now as in your case the lesion is persisting since 4 days, you need to apply an antibiotic/steroid combination cream over the lesion twice a day.
Take oral antihistamine like levocetrizine once a day to decrease the swelling.

Do not use any moisturizer over the lesion till the time the lesion heals.

Hope it helps
Wishing you speedy recovery
