Hi Dr. Grief, I was just wondering about something that has happened recently. I'm 33 years old and would consider myself fit and healthy. However, about 3 weeks ago I was standing in the kitchen when I experienced a sudden dull pain in the right side of my chest. It forced me into a keeled-over-like position. My mother and brother were present and my mother noticed straight away. She asked if I had jerked my knee as I incurred an injury years ago. I left it at that since I wasn't sure what I had just experienced. As I said, it was a sudden dullness in my chest. Not to sound over-dramatic, it felt like everything inside stopped for a moment and it nearly knocked me down. I've felt discomfort now and then in the same area since that incident. Today, the same thing happened and I experienced dizziness alongside the dullness in my chest. I know pain in the left side is most often associated with cardiac problems but, being in my right side, I'm not sure what to make of it. I would really appreciate any help and advice you could provide. Thank you.
