Have Flu, 101.9 Fever, Heartburn, Took ZPack. Recommendations?
5 days ago I thought I was coming down with the flu. It started with 10l.9 fever and feeling really bad. No cough or congestion. What was strange I had heartburn which has steadily gotten worse. Went to the Dr. and was given a ZPack. I am still running a low grade temperature and the heartburn had continued making it very difficult for me to eat or drink.

Hi, these days the fevers usually are accompanied by the gastric irritation, so heart burn.In addition z.pack is very irritant to the gastric mucosa. now you have to use some thing which cools the gastric mucosa.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe omeprazol, domperidon , and antacid gel so long you use fever medication .
