Have Had Blood Blister On Leg. Is It A Wart?

Hi I have had a blood blister type thing on my upper leg for years now. I did ask a doctor about it previously and she said it was nothing to worry about. I noticed that the past week or so skin forming over it (a bit like a wart) now have noticed it has started to go dark purple/black around one edge. I looked on the internet and am now petrified this is something really bad

Yes i think it is granuloma pyogenicum.it is due to injury which caused blood blister which inturn develops into purplish lesion called granuloma pyogenicum.it can be removed by electrocautery until bleeding stops.no medical treatment works in this condition.
