Have Hard Painless Lump On Perineum. What Is It?

Hello, I have a hard, nearly painless lump about the size of a finger pad on my perineum, about 1/2 from the midline. It started smaller 3 days ago and has grown since. I had a baby 13 weeks ago and had 2nd degree tear in almost the same exact spot. It is not really visible. What is it?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

This could be scar tissue due to healing from the tear that took place or a secondary infection. If you do not have any other signs of an infection like pain, fever, discharge, etc; then this could be related to the process of healing. Either way it is best to visit a doctor and get physically examined if this is bothering you.

Best wishes.
