Have Headache And Nausea. Missed Period. On Contraceptive Implant. Solution?
I feel very nauseous all the time and seem to get intense headaches. This has been going on for about three weeks. I'm not pregnant and have done quite a few tests to make sure. I did miss my last period but I'm on the contraceptive implant and i know that can happen sometimes. I've been drinking lots of water but nothing seems to stop the feeling of needing to throw up - even though I've only thrown up once in the whole time I've been feeling this way. Please can you help? Thank you very much in advance.
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. It is possible that you could be having this side-effect as a result of the implant of contraceptive that you are using. probably you can change your contraceptive measure and re-try some other measure. Your symptoms may abate with this. As of now you can take paracetamol for headache and ranitidine for nausea. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you. In future if you wish to contact me directly, you can use the below mentioned link: bit.ly/dr-srikanth-reddy
