Have Headaches, Hot Flashes. Had Hysterectomy, Ovaries And Tubes Removed. What Is Wrong With Me?
I had my hysterectomy in oct 2010 I had my right ovary and tubes taken, but left ovary was left. then August 16 2013 i had to have emergency surgery they had to remove my left ovary. Dr put me on Vivelle 0.05 did not help, i end up putting 2 on at once for a week and it helped me alot even with sleeping.. So I went back to Dr. and she put me on Minivelle 0.1 and last night was the first time using it, and it has not helped me, I woke up with a headache, i still have it now, I have had the heat flashes all day on and off... So whats the difference between the two?? What do I need to do?? Thank you
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
You have mentioned that after the surgeries both of your ovaries were removed. Normally the ovaries are essential for hormonal production and are essential. Now that you dont have ovaries you need artificial hormones and the doctor hece prescribed you Vivelle. Now the hormones need to be titrated and it may take a couple of attempts. You can take paracetamol for heaeaches.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
