Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding hearing loss in your left ear for last 6 months. Though you have neither pain nor discharge in your ear so suspition for infective pathology is ruled out. Your hearing loss is spontaneous so before managing it is necessary to find out type of disease. it may be-

1- Conductive hearing loss.

2- Sensory neural hearing loss.

3- Mixed hearing loss.

After deciding the type of hearing loss second important step is to decide severity of loss, site of lesion and cause of disease. The all above factors are rule out by a thorough examination and necessary invstigationgs like-

a- Pure ton audiometry.

b- Impedance audiometry.

Thus now it is must for you to consult your doctor (ENT specialist) for examination, investigations and treatment.

Regards.
