Have Hearing Loss And Hear Ringing Sound In The Ears

I am suffering from tinitus and hearing loss the ringing fluctuate sometime after sleeping in the morning the sounds are decreased. if i take anti allergi with antibiotic ringing becomes un noticeble after 4-5 days. can you send any advice please. regards umar

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of hearing loss and hear ringing sound in the ears. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like age related problem, ear infection, tinnitus, sinusitis or eustachian tube dysfunction. Need not to worry. For now apply dry warm compresses to external ear and start taking supplement like ginkgo biloba. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may examine ear with otoscope and order hearing test along with other examination like CT scan for sinusitis. Doctor my prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory, decongestant and expectorant and recommend hearing device. Avoid touching or pricking ear with any sharp object.
