Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Since your average fasting sugar is around 200 and raise to 220 does not suggest to change in drug. Get done fasting, post prandial and also HbA1c values with lipid profile and urine microalbumin value and with this we can optimize the drug and line of management. Drug alone cant help, you need to take regular optimized diet with regular exercises. If only fasting is affected then we need to adjust your evening drug. So get back with the values and mention your age, weight, height, work activities so we can plan for complete management. If not controlled by oral drug then need to start with Insulin. Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries. Wish you good health. Take care.

Hello, Your fasting sugar is very high and you need to maintain it around 100 mg/dl. Oral hypoglycemic agent are not working for you. It appears to be like Sulfonylureas failure. OHA s alone may not help to control the blood sugar when it is more than 200 mg/dl. You need to be started on insulin. Consult your doctor.
