Have Hypothyroidism, Advised Levothyroxine. Will There Be Any Side Effects ?
yesterday the specialist told me that I have HYPOthyroidism, he send me to take Levothyroxine 25 for three months and then test me to see how is going. Im just VERY scared cos first I have never been in any kind of pill control like this, daily and maybe for life BUT what really scares me is the side effects Im reading some people have like chest pain and palpitations. Does this happen to most people or just some?
Hi, Nothing to worry about side effects as treatment of hypothyroid is equally essential. Chest pain and palpitations can occur with hypothyroid itself. Continue the treatment and after thyroid report is normal your doctor will go for minimum maintenance dose where side effects are nil or minimum. Ok and take care.
