This has been going on for 13 years. My doc has me on 10/200mg of hydro condone or 4 mg of dilaudid. All of this is lasts for a couple hors, I am looking for something that is longer acting, so I don't have to take so many and always run out. I don't even have time to do housework, clean, play with my kids, to enjoy outtings with my husband. There has got to be some that is longer acting, can you help please??? Thank you and God Bless. It is unfortunate that you have to suffer so much pain despite surgery and after taking medications, resulting in inability to enjoy life.
You could benefit from medicines such as pregabalin or gabapentin. Pregabalin is usually started at a dose of 75 mg on e daily, and the dose can be gradually increased to 300 mg daily in two divided doses. Gabapentin can be started at a dose of 300 mg twice daily and the dose can be gradually increased to 1200-1500 mg per day.
I hope it helps.
