Have Irregular Period. Had Bleeding After Sex, Took Plan B. Having Heartburn. Pregnancy Chances?
My gf has irregular period but I timed it to were we would have sex on or around her days I would think she would ovulate. We had sex and on day 16 after her last period she had light bleeding. The next day it was gone the day after that she took plan B. Now she is having heartburn and hasn't ate nothing out the ordinary. Can she be pregnant?
Hello Thanks for your query. It is very difficult to say if she is pregnant or not, from the details you have provided. heartburn is not a very reliable symptom of pregnancy. Also her cycles are irregular. Hence, I would ask you to take a pregnancy test 4 weeks after unprotected sex to confirm if a pregnancy is present. Before that, specially with irregular cycles, it is impossible to comment. In women with irregular menstrual cycles, it is more reliable to take a blood HCG test / pelvic ultrasound scan instead of urine tests. Take care.
