Have Irregular Periods And Ovarian Cyst. Started Taking Progyluton. Have Abdomen Pain And Bleeding. Suggest?

Hi , I'm 19 years old I have very irregular periods m I was diagnose with ovarian cyst . I start it taking progyluton I finish the first pack at the 5th day of finishing the pack I gat my period . Its a very disturbing pain I feel in my abdomen and I'm bleeding frequently ! Is this normal ? And for how long will I be heavy bleeding ? This is my second day ! If I'm still on my period the 5th day do I still start the second progyluton package ? Would it make it stop ?

Hello,

Progyluton is a combined OCP and used to treat PCOS or irregular period. First time user may get some adverse effect like abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, headache, breast tenderness, nausea etc. It will overcome gradually till your body is adjusted with the hormone pill.

You would start new pack of pill from Day1 of each menstrual cycle and it will definitely arrest heavy bleeding. So, you start to take them.

Maintain genital hygiene. Good luck.
