Have Itchy Patches Around Vagina And Inner Thigh. Suggest
I have ichy patches around my vagina area and the bend in my inner thigh. Some looks like ringworms and others just straight lines that are bumpy and itch really bad. Is there a such thing as ringworms in that area? Someone please help me. Hate to think my husband bought something home to me- he is a long haul truck driver. You have itchy patches around vagina, and in the bend in the inner theigh. You are suspecting your husband who is a truck driver.
As you fear it has nothing to do with the STD, or some thing of that sort.
It is a fungal infection, ring worm is one of them . of course there is a possibility that your husband has brought it for you , but it may come with out a contact, like sweating, and lack of sanitation.
I advise you to contact a dermatologist for diagnosis and complete treatment.

hi,washing the groin twice daily with an antifungal shampoo like ketoconazole or selenium sulfide;
using a topical antifungal cream like miconazole (Monistat, Micatin), clotrimazole (Lotrimin, Mycelex), or terbinafine (Lamisil).
Severe fungal or yeast jock itch is typically treated by a combination of
washing groin twice daily with an antifungal shampoo like ketoconazole or selenium sulfide;
using a topical antifungal cream like miconazole, clotrimazole, or terbinafine;
