Have Itchy Scalp After Bleaching Hair. No Flakiness. Using Steroid Lotion. Remedy?

i bleached my hair 3 years ago and it caused a intense ithcy scalp. i stopped bleaching after some 3mths itching has continued have been to gp and have a mild steroid lotion which i use as little as i can. just cant get rid of the itch. no flakiness. i use head an shoulders most days as i use gels for styling. can you help.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

You have developed an allergic contact dermatitis.

Steroid lotion will be beneficial, but dont use it too long.

It should not be used more than 15 days.

Along with that taking an antihistamine tablet will be benifitial.
