Have Knotty And Swollen Breast. What Does It Mean?
My doctor says I have knotty and cloudy breast. I am 53 yrs. old and I am not breast feeding & haven't for many years. Can you please tell me what this means? My family doctor, OBGYN,, & surgery doctor all tell me the same thing - they don't know what it means and they can not help with the pain and swollen breast (it's only one breast affected).

It seems that this might be due to some hormonal changes ocurring at this age.
But to be on safe side go for Mammography to rule out having any abnormal focus in the breast.
