Have Lung Cancer, Brain Tumor, Flu Like Symptoms, Dizziness. Tried Chemotherapy And Radiation. Sounds Like?
hi. my mother inlaw has stage four cancer.a brain tumor and also lung cancer. She had CT scans about three months ago, which showed the brain tumor was gone. they continued the aggressive chemo and radiation on the lung. all were completed two weeks ago. no further scans have been done. for the past two weeks she had flu like symtoms,no fever. and now is confused and unable to stand or walk due to dizziness. she also hasnt been eating. i feel this isnt a flu, and shld b taken to the ER. what do u think
Hi, it appears that she had side effects of the chemotherapy, or due to the absorption of the necrosed tissues of the lung cancer tissue. It may take some time for accomodation of the body. i to my patient with such symptoms prescribe neurotropic injections, for 10 consecutive days, omeprazole, domperidone, and antacid gel, and symptomatic treatment accordingly. Thank you.
