Have Mild Sleep Apnea, Forgetting To Breathe. No Help From Any Doctors. Suggest

Hi Doctor
I have had GURD/mild Sleep apnea for a number of years and have had several incidents where I seem to "forget" to breath-this happens when I am awake. Someone suggest it could be some form of Panic attack but it has never happened when I'm feeling anxious. I just suddenly find I'm not breathing, then struggle to "remember" how to do it-it's very strange. I've mentioned it to various doctors but not one has ever commented on it.

Hi, sleep apnea means that there is dyspnoea while sleeping, and you have to take a deep breath, after waking up, and has to move up from the bed and walk few steps.
This usually happens due to hypertension, or some other cardiac problem. So i advise you to consult a cardiologist for diagnosis. Thank you.
