Have Mild Vomiting, Fever, Chills. Seen Spotting. Problem Due To Smiley Piercing Or Pregnant?

Hello, thanks for your time. For the past 4 days I've been extremely sick. A bad cough, stuffy/runny nose, nausea, mild vomiting, no appetite, fever and chills. I think it's the flu because my boyfriend, son and a few friends have had it too. But it seems like mine is taking longer to clear up. I was wondering if maybe it might be the new piercing I got? It's called a smiley piercing, it's the little piece of skin between your gums and upper lip. It's not hurting, oozing anything or anything like that but I thought maybe my body just isn't getting better because of it? But what I'm really worried about is I started spotting out of nowhere yesterday. Since I was young I would go 6 months to a year between periods and I haven't had one since my son was born 14 months ago. I thought maybe this spotting might be signs of the beginning of pregnancy? But my boyfriend and I haven't slept together in a month and besides nausea and no appetite I don't have any other pregnancy symptoms. Anything you can tell me about all this would be so helpful.
