Have Missed Period. Test Show Negative. Had A Thrush. Suggestions On The Delay?

Hello, i am 26 years old and im late on my period. Recently i had a thrush and got two tablets prescribed to remove the infection.Plus, i used canesten cream as well as the internal cream. Also i have started the gym, i am obese as well. My period would always start every 31 days or one more day later. Its been 34 days now and i have no period. I did one test on the 31st and one on the 33rd and both showed negative. I am very confused. Need advise asap. Thanks

Hello,
Although the most important cause for delay or missing a period is pregnancy, there are many causes which can result in delay of periods. There is long list of causes and some of these are..
Stress
Being overweight or underweight
Had some illness recently
Change of working schedules like morning to night or vice versa
Hormonal disorders like hypothyroidism or polycystic ovary disease.
Being very athletic
You must wait for few days more and get your pregnancy test repeated.
If it is still negative, you must consult a doctor and get investigated properly o find the cause.
Thanks
