Have Multipel Sebaceous Cysts Near Ear. Painful. Recommendations
Hi Doc I am jeffrey India nationality working in uae for about a year and half and i am having multipel sebaceous cysts on my head close to my ear and in my neck. This cyst has been developing since 2010 and its growing big. out of 6 cyst 2 is bit painful and i am worried that it doesnt harm my brain or cause any never breakdown in my head. Please advise me what to do. Also let me know if there is any diet to be followed.

Multiple sebaceous cysts over the site mentioned by you is possible but not so common. Was the diagnosis confirmed by a dermatologist or is it self diagnosis ? I would recommend a dermatologist's face to face consultation to rule out acne cysts.
Sebaceous cysts need to be excised totally, better done by a dermato surgeon or plastic surgeon. Do not try to squeeze it. It can get infected causing pain and redness. As two lesions are painful there is a chance that it is infected. You might require a course of antibiotics. It would not harm your brain. There is no diet restrictions for sebaceous cyst.
