Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the past, lets say, around a week now I have been having unexpected nausea . I could have it then it goes away eventually then comes back at random times. I ve also been having a very strong sense of smell, I tried eating something as little as pizza roles, which is something I like to eat, and the smell was just terrible to me. I tried to ignore it and eat them but one bite and I started gagging. Do you have any ideas what might be wrong?
There can be various causes for nausea and unpleasant feeling you are experiencing which include Chemicals or toxins, Motion sickness (disorder which cause nausea and vomiting in sensitive individuals while traveling), gastritis, peptic ulcer, severe hypertension, unpleasant smell or pictures, brain tumors, morning sickness, radiation therapy etc.
Based on physical examination, past history and other associated findings, the doctor can be able to confirm whats going on with you.
Hope it helps!
