Have Non Ulcer Dyspepsia. Prescribed Nexpro, Esomeprazole. Done Endoscopy. Solution?

dear doctor,
today i went for endoscopy test with my family doctor the result shows that mild lax les...later doctor are diagnosed that it is a non ulcer dyspepsia disease who prescribed nexpro 40-esomeprazole for 2 months....my query is that i want to clearly know about the endoscopy test result mild lax les as well as non ulcer dyspepsia disease....plz suggest me .

Hi,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic,

Your upper G.I.Endoscopy is just showing lax Lower esophageal sphincter and other findings are normal.
You should not worry too much a there is no ulcer and medicine prescribed is good to control your symptoms.

There may be mild reflux which is causing symptoms they should improve with treatment.
You should just avoid smoking and use of alcohol and foods which may increase reflux like too much caffeine items like tea and coffee.
Even too much fats and fried items should be avoided and avoid sleeping just after eating.
If required H.Pylori test may be done if found positive appropriate therapy may be given.
