Have Ovarian Cancer. List Of Appropriate Questions For Doctor?
I have recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and have a 3 week post-opt appointment with my gynecologic oncologist tomorrow. I have read so many things on the internet about latest research, clinical trials, antioxidant supplements, tumor profile, diets--it's all quite overwhelming. I don't want to waste time during the appointment with all of these topics or insult his expertise & skill, but I also want to be very aggressive with treatments. Do you know if there is a list of appropriate questions online that I should ask during this type of appointment? Thank you!
Dear , Ovarian Canccer is a most chemosensitive tumor. After the Surgery you need to have some chemotherapy cycles. I am sure after these cycles of chemotherapy you should be cured. Your Oncologist must be well aware and he will take appropriate steps regarding chemotherapy. The answers you need is for the effects and side effects of chemotherapy. There are many advices in alternative medicine in the literature but in my experience post surgery adjuant chemotherapy has the best results. Dr. Ticku
