Have Pain In The Ovary. Had Uterus And Servix Removed Because Of Endometriosis And Cysts. What Can This Be?

I had my uterus & cervix removed on February 15th of this year, 5 weeks after giving birth, due to years of Endometriosis & cysts. They left both ovaries... I have been feeling great, no pain. But, about a week ago, started getting the same sharp pain in my left ovary that I've always had due to cysts. Should I still be having this pain?? I'nm 31 years old

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns and am sorry to hear that you have been having pain despite having undergone surgeries and having suffered from similar issues in the past. I hope you can get to consult your gynecologist as soon as possible. I also hope that you have been doing the right things in terms of visiting with the gynecologist and taking the medications as suggested. Ovarian cysts can be very painful and having ovariectomies may be helpful in curing the condition. I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
