Have Pain In The Side Of The Abdomen. Have Lost Weight Drastically. Carrying Some Heavy Lifting At Work. Cure For Symptoms?

every time I bend I have pain on the right side of my abdomen (right under my ribs) and upon standing develop a painful Charlie horse type feeling which worsens as the day progresses (or with how active I get). it doesn't go to my back or anywhere else. just that one spot. I lost 41 pounds from dec to April but hadn't been working out much since. do some heavy lifting at work occasionally and it seemed to start around then

The pain is likely related to soft tissue injury to that area. It may have occurred due to the heavy lifting that you were doing.

If you have no history of allergies or problems with anti inflammatory pain killers then you can consider using them for pain relief. These would include medications such as ibuprofen, aspirin, cataflam, voltaren, celebrex. These should be used on a full stomach to reduce any irritation to the stomach.

If the pain continues despite using the medication appropriately then you should consider a visit to your doctor.
