Hello and welcome to HCM,
Cuts on the external genitalia are a risk factor for spread of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) including.
STDs are transmitted by genital route.
The source of infection is the discharge/ secretions of the genital tract and oral cavity.
When these secretions/ discharge come in contact with the mucosal surface of another person, transmission of the infection can take place.
Infections can spread in the absence of penetrative sex also.
Multiple partners is another risk factor for the transmission of the disease.
Itching on the external genitalia can be due to a primary skin problem, an
allergy or irritation or due to infection.
Fungal infections are commonly associated with itching.
You need to consult a dermatologist/ venerologist for clinical examination and clinical examination to rule out infections.
Thanks and take care
