Have Pilonidal Sinus Since 6-7 Weeks. How To Cure From It ?
I have pilonidal sinus since 6-7 months .I have consulted to doctor ,he suggested me to take its treatment by medical thread method .i.e., a medical thread will be inserted in the area and it will clean the cavity and something else i don t remember. Please explain me and suggest me the best way to cure it.I am taking its treatment since a weak

The best treatment till date available for pilonidal sinus is surgical excision.As far as the procedure of medical thread method please consult your treating doctor on the safety and efficacy of it .If the procedure does not help you then again you will have to go in for surgery.Please consult the Surgeon for better advice and treatment.

There is alternative surgery in Ayurveda using a special medicated thread called Ksharasutra.by using this thread recurrent less then 2%, which is negligible in comparison to operative recurrent rate.using this thread no need of hospitalization, less bleeding, no chance of reoccurence, cheaper than modern treatment, wound healing faster.This method is recognised by WHO and is becoming very popular and successful treatment of this time..

For Plionidal sinus the best method to be used is surgery
also you can try the application of Kshar if not Ksharsutra as Kshar being a corrosive helps in the healing of a Dushta Vrana in ur case a plionidal sinus
