Have Pimples, Rashes And Itchy. Been Applying Betnovate And Isotretinoin. Fear Side Effects?

I had been applying betnovate on the pimples till last saturday.If I had stopped applying betnovate ointment, I used to get small granular pimples, those may rashes not sure with itching sesation .Hence I continued applying it for last 2 years.I consulted dermatologist and I was informed it makes the skin tissues .Therefore it should not be used and I was prescribed to use Isotretinoin sotret 20 mg capsule every alternate night for 40 days(20 capsules).I have not taken the capsules yet.I just went through the leaflet in capsule box and I was shocked to see the side effects.Please advice me whether should I start taking the capsules.I am very much worried since the side effects include mental disorders,many impairments and many other problems.My skin has become very sensitive. Kindly advice me whether should I take isotretinoin sotret or try other medicines.Your advice is greatly appreciated.

First of all i would like to know whether you are male or female.

Isotretinoin can be used both in males as well as female.

The side effects vary in males and females.

The most important side effect is harm to the fetus during pregnancy.
