Have Problem In The Back. Had A MRI Done For The Back. The Result Of The MRI Shows The Description. What Does The Result Mean?
Please help me understand the read below of my MRI of my back.
- Intervertebral disc: Disc desiccation, mild disc height loss, 7mm anterolisthesis at this level.
-Posterior Elements: Moderate facet hypertrophy, right more than left.
_ Centeral canal: Mild central stenosis with most effacement along the posterior lateral aspect, right more than left, the AP diameter of the thecal sac measures approximately 7mm at this level in the midline.
-Neural foramina: Mild effacement of the bilateral foramina without neural encroachment.

According to reports you have degenerative disease of spine and
1. There is loss of water from intervertebral disc with mild loss of disc height and also there is anterior movement of 7 mm at this level.
2.There is moderate hypertrophy of facet joints(bony joints),right>left.
3.There is mild stenosis of spinal canal with narrowing in posterior lateral aspect(right > left).AP diameter of thecal sac at this level is 7 mm which confirms narrowing.
4.There is mild narrowing of neural foramen in both side without nerve encroachment.
