Have Red Circles Between Eyebrows. What Can This Be?

I have 3 red circles (smooth and not raised or rough) with white center, located between the eyebrows and overlapping each other sort of like the rings symbol of the Olympics. I have a few others on edge of hairline, and side of face. But even MORE weird, whenever I bend over or strain a bunch of white spots (no red ring around them) appear, then most fade (while one or two stragglers stick around). What can this be???

Hi,

It seems that you are having tinea faciale.

Tinea faciale is the name used for infection of the face with a dermatophyte fungus.

Infection results either from direct contact to an external source, for example a domestic animal, or there may be secondary spread from pre-existing tinea of another body site.

The clinical features vary considerably. Annular or circinate lesions, plaques with a raised margin, simple papular lesions, and flat patches of erythema, as well as scaling, itching and exacerbation after sun exposure may occur.

Tinea faciale is less common, but generally has a similar appearance with central clearing of lesions. Tinea faciale may not always exhibit the sharply demarcated border of tinea corporis.

The diagnosis of tinea faciei is confirmed by microscopy and culture of skin scrapings.

Treatment is very simple.

Apply antifungal cream..miconazole, clotrimazole ecocnazole..etc

You take oral anti fungal ..fluconazole,ketconazole or itraconazole.

Previously greseofulvin was used.

Avoid soap application on face.

Avoid sun exposure.

I hope you will get good result in few weeks.

Still, you consult dermatologist and then you take treatment..ok

Thanks.
